2006 Spring Educational Conference is in the Works!
Planning for our spring conference is well underway. The theme for the conference will be "Charting A New Course." It will be held on Thursday and Friday, April 20 and 21 in State College, PA. More details will follow but mark your calendars or even Register now!!!! Register before April 7 and SAVE!!!!!
The Spring Conference will be at the Days Inn, State College. Sign in is from Noon to 1:00 on Thursday. The conference program will begin at 1:00 P.M.
As with all such events sponsored by the PA Chapter - your membership association for Workforce Professionals - the Spring Institute will offer a well-rounded agenda featuring several topics of interest to those of us who work in all areas of the Department’s workforce programs. The topics to be included on the agenda will serve to keep us up-to-date on workplace trends affecting our jobs and bolster our collective sense of professionalism as well as enhance our own individual capacities for personal growth and foster a greater awareness of other contemporary issues that should interest us as citizens.

Educational Leave normally is available for those who wish to attend (taking into account offices' staffing needs). Questions on applying for such leave should be handled through employees’ regular supervisory channels.
