What is IAWP?
IAWP - The World Leader of Professionals in Workforce Systems is a worldwide non-profit association for individuals interested in the programs and services related to the workforce needs of citizens and businesses.

As the World Leader of Professionals in Workforce Systems, IAWP has a threefold mission:

  • to SERVE professionals in employment, unemployment, training and related programs;
  • to SUPPORT administrators and their agency vision/mission;
  • to ENHANCE member growth and development.

To carry out its mission, the association builds coalitions and fosters a close working relationship with other partners who share common concerns about programs in workforce development field.

Our focus is on Information and Education. IAWP offers opportunities for leadership development and skill enhancement, provides updates on legislative issues affecting workforce systems, and recognizes achievements.

What can the IAWP do for me?
Members of the IAWP receive information and training related to workforce development programs through international and chapter newsletters, chapter educational conferences and conventions, a self-study professional development program, resource library, and annual International Conferences. The association provides opportunities for recognition and development of leadership skills.

The IAWP website provides more information about the association and its benefits. Membership is open to anyone interested in workforce development programs. A Membership Application is available and can be downloaded in either Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format.
